The Big Band Dance is back! For the first time since 2020, M-A Music's signature event returns to the calendar for its 35th edition. Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, dinner, dancing, and fun!
The Big Band Dance features live music performed by M-A's own Jazz 2 and Jazz Ensemble, under the skillful direction of Bill Flaherty, along with special guest appearances by the Hillview and La Entrada jazz bands.
The Big Band Dance is open to the public, so please bring your family, friends, and neighbors, all ages welcome! 100% of proceeds from this fabulous evening will benefit the M-A instrumental music program! Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support the annual music budget. Over 95% of the music program budget supports needed equipment and sheet music, travel costs, festival fees, and scholarships so that all students can participate in their ensemble's performances and trips.
Bring your dancing shoes on Saturday, February 28th, from 6-9 pm at the Menlo-Atherton High School Gym.
Admission includes dinner, dessert, mocktails, live music, and swing dancing lessons. Advance pricing is available through Monday, February 22.
